I've heard it said that some doctors are concerned that people are jumping on the Internet and learning things that are not offering credible information about their own particular case. I understand that concern, but we are still thinking adults and still have our own best interest involved in the equation.
As a part of a Yahoo health forum, I have been elated at some of the posts as of late that, at times, have had some thininking that we were mad at each other.
That has not been the case at all. It is just showing the passion we have for coming to the correct information and that makes us all more informed patients.
Let's always try to become our best at whatever we do.
Have a good weekend.
Blessings,
Rick

The Internet Offers Help
I know there is a lot of junk on the Internet, but it also has a lot of great information on it as well.
It provides for a person to become a better informed patient when they visit their doctor.
If you are aware of informative sites dealing with prostate cancer treatment, please e-mail them to me.
It was the Internet, not the urologist, who informed me about all of my options.
Have a good Tuesday.
Blessings,
Rick

Homework Can Be Just That. Work.
I guess with school beginning this week, it reminds me of the importance of anyone doing their homework.
Doing your homework can be really hard, but at the end of the day, it's better to do the work than just accept the first opinion of the doctor.
Realizing the importance of doing the work, it is so much more important when it comes to our health.
Thankfully there are others who have done the work and can be a great resource when it comes to trying to find the best course of treatment for you.
Have a good Monday.
Blessings,
Rick
