Cancer Treatment or Vacation?

I received an email from a gentleman the other day which I read to my wife and sister-in-law.
We talked about it after I read it and agreed that it read like a couple who was on vacation. They talked about different museums that they had visited while in Florida and a great place where they stayed. Also talked about the great restaurants available and the great people that they met while there.
If a person didn't know better, they might think that this couple was in Florida on vacation, but the truth is that the man was there being treated for prostate cancer. What treatment could he have received that would allow him and his wife to be doing all of these things?
Well it's Proton Beam Therapy of course. Most centers that offer PBT call the treatment process a "radiation vacation".
