Hot flashes in men undergoing prostate cancer treatment is uncomfortable,
but a new study suggests medroxyprogesterone could be the new gold standard
in treating hot flashes in men.
ADT, which lowers the level of the male sex hormone testosterone to prevent
the growth of prostate cancer, is the most common treatment for advanced
prostate cancer. Hot flashes are a common side effect of this therapy,
experienced by up to 80% of men undergoing prostate cancer treatment.
While I was part of the 20% who didn't take hormones to treat my cancer, I do have a good friend who did take it and is available to you to counsel with. Fire off an email to me at www.ricksdetailing@yahoo.com and I'll put you in contact with him.
Have a good Monday.
Blessings,
Rick
