Treating With Proton Beam At Tsukuba University

I read a story on another site about a man who is beginning his adventure with proton beam at the Tsukuba University Hospital near Tokyo.
They use no balloon associated with the treatment, require urination 45 minutes before treatment and hold bladder until after treatment.
Apparently the cost is around $28,000.

This procedure is a bit different than those offered in the United States.

We'll see, over time, what the benefits of these differences are.

P.S. My mother-in-law is in the last days of her life. She is 91 and has lived with my wife and me for 14 months. Only God knows how many days any of us have left, but as her time goes nearer to stepping into Heaven, I may take a short break from posting everyday. I hope you understand. I will post my tribute to her at her passing.

Have a good Tuesday.
Blessings,
Rick
